I grew up in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake and got into the Real Estate industry in 2006 (I know, right before the market crashed!)  I am a graduate of Western Branch High School and Radford Univeristy in Southwest Virginia.

Growing up, my father owned an auto repair shop, which he is still operating after 40 years, and was a part time Real Estate investor.  My mother served as a Commercial Real Estate developer working in city government for Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Hampton.  From them I learned the value of hard work, customer service, and always doing the right thing, no matter what.

From the ages of 14-22 I worked in various areas of home construction and owned a lawn and landscaping business.  I guess I have always loved real estate and homes.  I remember at the age of 5 or 6, checking out architecture books from the public library and creating home floor plans on those large sheets of off-white drawing paper (remember those?).

In my spare time I like to watch sports, go out to eat, travel, play golf (poorly), work out (more of a love/hate relationship), and play basketball at the rec center (even though I now get embarrassed by the 20 year old kids).

I'm fortunate to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Roc Solid Foundation www.RocSolidFoundation.org, which I helped found with a childhood friend of mine who is a pediatric cancer survivor.  This charity is doing big things and should become a household name over the next 5-10 years.
